This is one of the funniest, most enjoyable festivals in Furano, and yet also one of the simplest. Locals and tourists alike use their own ideas and materials to make a raft and thereafter, float down the river in the middle of a floating festival.

The festival has a great atmosphere with tourists and locals laughing and rollicking their way down the river with drinks and food on the rafts and people watching and cheering them along all the way down the river.
