Torinuma Park and Heart Hill Park

Welling springs make this pond highly transparent, the reflection of trees etched on the water's surface beautiful. In spring the skunk cabbages and Eastern skunk cabbages sprout, in summer the fireflies dance, in fall the colors change and you can see all kinds of animal footprints such as that of the Ezo squirrel. If you have time stretch your legs a little farther to Heart Hill Observation Deck. From the basis of Furano you can see all the way to Mt. Ashibetsu and Mt. Yubari.

Stop and take a break to try the [Furano Burger] if you have time. Local cuisine and fresh air go perfectly together.

Furano Glass Factory

If you go straight from Torinuma Park down Route 273, you will find the Furano Glass Factory on Route 6 . There is a gallery, souvenirs and glass clock crafts activities available.
