"From the Northern Country" TV Drama Museum

Props that were used in the From the Northern Country drama series are on display for fans who wish to relive the story.


Yahataoka Hill

The path where Jun met Rei, Sota's Farm, the elementary school where Jun and Hotaru went to school (Nakanosawa Elementary School Extension Campus), all scenes from the TV Drama "From the Northern Country" appear before your eyes.


Recycled Houses

The house Goro built for Setsuko, [Sumie's House] that appears in the last episode, Jun and Yui's house which was completed in December, 2004, all are made from recycled items creating an extremely unique piece of architecture, so you want to take the time to see it properly.


Rokugo Forest

Goro's house, which has been used over and over throughout the series, is preserved in the woods. You can also view the wind generated house Jun built and the log cabin. There is a café and photo gallery of Yutaka Nasuno, a photographer born in Furano.


Goro's Stone House

The stone house was built from stones Goro picked up in the fields. Since May, 2004, the house can be viewed up close.


Furano Jam Farm Anpanman Shop

Strawberries and Haskapp berries, pumpkin are some of the 35 types of jam made from produce grown here in Furano. In connection with the Jam Lady, Takashi Yanase's Anpanman shop was built and is a popular spot.


Rokugo Observation Deck

Toward the back of the Jam Farm there is an observation deck which was also used in From the Northern Country. From the observation deck you can view lavender, salvia, sunflowers and Rugosa roses as well as the hillside of Rokugo.


Furano Music Boxes

There are plenty of items perfect for a souvenir from Furano.


Rokugo Road

Rokugo Road is the perfect spot for a drive with cherry blossoms in spring and colorful foliage in fall.


Ningle Terrace

Open between 9:00 - 21:00 during summer. The candle house is the shop where Setsuko worked in From the TV Drama "From the Northern Country" Besides this, there are lots of other items that will make a perfect souvenir of Furano.
