Furano-Biei Nature Run
This weekend, Sep 17 & 18, is the Furano-Biei Nature Run.
While that sounds very pleasant, it is actually an ultra-marathon with incredible athletes running very unpleasant distances. There are three classes: 50 km, 100 km, and the dreaded 100 mile (160 km!!!!).
I am sure the scenery will be pleasant for the runners, as they push far beyond what most people ever even think of.
