Last Day of Ski Season
Today marks the last day of the 2024-25 ski season at the Furano Ski Resort.
Yes, you read that correctly...we can ski until the end of Golden Week up here!! (This is also why our flower season doesn't really kick into gear until the second half of June.)
We had a below average snowfall this year, but there is still plenty enough to ski until May. A good crowd was taking advantage of the sunny day to enjoy the last day on the slopes with about 60 cars in the parking lot.
Next up, flowers and the beautiful summer season. That'll take some time to get ready, but in the meanwhile the tulips should be popping out soon to get us warmed up. Enjoy.
