That's right culture fans! Furano's whacky annual Navel Festival is next Monday & Tuesday, July 28-29.
This will be the 57th iteration of our beloved Navel Festival, known as the "Heso Matsuri" in Japanese. Great fun, great food, great photo ops, and a guaranteed great time! See hundreds of dancers parade down the street with huge faces painted on their torsos. How can you pass that up? You'll love it.
And EVEN BETTER, is that YOU TOO can be IN THE FESTIVAL!!! For a modest fee of 3,500 yen you get the costume, get your torso painted up, learn the easy dance, and then you are in the parade!! "Shutter Chance" of a lifetime, and your Halloween costume is set for the foreseeable future.
