Tea Ceremony
Furano Tourism sponsors an annual tea ceremony experience for visitors to enjoy.
We just held our first event a few days ago, and it was a huge success. All who came thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Performed by the local high school Tea Ceremony Club, guests learn how to properly drink tea, experience the ceremony, and then have Q&A session afterwards with the students, and learn how to make tea themselves.
If you missed out, not to worry! We're holding the second, and final, session on Wednesday, Jan 14, from 5-6 PM in the Kitanomine Community Center. For tickets and info go to Furano Tourism desk in the Kitanomine Gondola lobby. Cost is only 500 yen each.
