Dandelion Love
The yearly dandelion bloom is as much a part of spring here in Furano as the cherry blossoms, or the tulips. They are everywhere!!
Feared and despised in countries with manicured lawns, the dandelion flourishes in Hokkaido. It's not exactly cultivated, but neither are any measures taken to limit or eliminate them.
In fact, dandelions are a symbol of resilience in Japan due to their tenacious ability to grow anywhere, even when not invited. Enjoy.
