Hokkaido Navel Festival
Come one, come all!!
It's that time of year again where we prepare for the annual Furano Belly Button Festival. Celebrating Furano's location as the geographical center of Hokkaido, this light-hearted festival features painted belly buttons parading down the street!! What's not to like? Throw in food booths, baby races, hip hop performances, and even hula dancing! Fun all day long.
The kicker is that, yes, YOU TOO can be IN THE PARADE!! That's right folks, roll up on either day, pay a modest fee, and get your entire torso painted up, get into costume, learn the simple dance, and then, SHOWTIME!! Photo op of a lifetime.

Location: Furano (Festival Central is located near the Concierge Furano building)
Time: 11:00 -- 20:00. (Parade is in the evening)
Cost: Free, unless you wanna dance!
