Summer Beer Mall
What the heck is a beer mall? A mall full of beer? Not quite.
It's summer, it's hot during the day, and starts to cool off in the evening. What better time than to head to a nice shady spot and have a nice dinner outside with lots of refreshing beer. Such is the tradition in Japan, and for some reason they call it the Beer Mall.
Furano has three upcoming Friday night summertime beer celebrations: July 24, Aug 7, and Aug 14, from 5-9 PM. Lots of fun. Meet some locals, and have some beer. Tickets are available from the Furano Tourism office at the train station.
