New Cable for Kitanomine Gondola
In the latter part of the summer, the Kitanomine Gondola got a brand new cable. This seems like a good thing. I mean, who wants an old cable?
I missed the removal of the old cable, but stumbled upon the installation of the new cable, and it was quite the interesting process. Those cables are long and heavy, so how do they hoist them up into position? Good question!
Here are a few pics showing part of the process. Assuredly more complicated than it looks.
See you in Furano.
