Goro's Stone House
Buildings preserved in the locations of the drama "From the
Northern Country" that was televised for 21 years from 1981.
You can enter the houses and see the interior decorations
completely reproduced. The Recycled House was given an
award of one of the 100 ecological architectural structures
around the world in 2010 supervised by Public Style
Institute(RIPS) Ritsumeikan University College of Science and
Engineering Professor Takeda Shiro's study, of the recycled
house division. This is an ingeniously contrived house under
the concept "mottainai". This is a Japanese word used
worldwide which means ecological ideas that give a new life to
old things under the concept of recycling.
